It is just over 2 months since we welcomed you back with a new layout and way of operating. Thank you to all of you who came back and supported us through the Eat Out to Help Out campaign in August.
These adjustments have not been easy for any of us and we appreciate the positive feedback on the measures we have put in place and acknowedgement from customers that they feel safe in the operating environment we are now working to.
As you will now be aware, a further set of changes are to be implemented by law from Thursday 24th September and we just wanted to remind you of those changes and what to expect when you visit us.
TABLE SERVICE - food and drink must be ordered from and served at a table. This applies both inside and outside and you must remain seated while on our premises. Upon arrival please wait at the entrance door to be met by a member of staff who will take you to your table, if inside and make a note of your table if you choose to sit outside
FACE COVERINGS - all customers must wear a face covering, except when you are seated at a table to eat or drink. If you forget your mask we can provide one for a small donation to our charity tin.
RULE OF 6 - you cannot be part of a group that is more than 6 people (this includes children, whatever their age) and you may not socialise with any other group while on our premises. This will be strictly enforced.
CONTACT DETAILS - we are legally required to log your details or you can choose to scan our official NHS QR code which will be brought to your table
10pm CURFEW - all customers must have left our premises (this includes all outdoor space) by 10pm so please note Last Orders will be 9.15pm and Time will be called at 9.30pm (8pm on Sundays)
We know that things will be different. It will take longer to serve you and at times it will be frustrating for both customers and staff but we will do our best to make it as enjoyable an experience as we can in as safe an environment as we can.
Please remember that these changes are being imposed on all of us. We did not enter the hospitality industry to have to police so many regulations and our staff are only complying with the new laws
Thank you again to all of our lovely customers that have continued to support us through this difficult time. We will ride out this pandemic alongside you and hopefully emerge in the Spring with a viable business still intact and a continued meeting place for family and friends
