Welcome to the Mill Arms
17 December 2020
Following the Government Announcement today that Hampshire willremain in Tier 2 we would like to advise all of our customers that we will remian closed at this time.
It is not economically viable to operate a community pub like the Mill Arms, that attracts a large number of our customers who socialise outside of the household bubble, meeting friends and family for food and drink, under the draconian restrictions being placed upon us.
We had desperately hoped that when the government undertook it's review today that we would revert to Tier 1, however the current climate does not allow this and the overall health of our customers and staff is of paramount importance.
We will continue to provide updates as and when the next review takes place.
Thank you again to all of our lovely customers that have continued to support us through this difficult time. We will ride out this pandemic alongside you and emerge in the Spring with a viable business still intact and a continued meeting place for family and friends.
As we cannot see you in person, we wish each and every one of you the Christmas you would wish for in these circumstances and will raise a toast on New Year's Eve to 2021 and meeting up again.
Set in the village of Dunbridge and half a mile from Mottisfont Abbey, the Mill Arms is an ideal base for walkers, visitors to the New Forest, fisherman on the glorious Test and shooting parties in the winter months. Close to the market town of Romsey, there are a wealth of activities for visitors (https://visitromsey.org/visit)
