Mill Arms

Welcome to the Mill Arms

COVID-19 Update

19 March 2021

Following the recent Government Announcement and the roadmap set out we would like to advise our customers of our plans for reopening.

As we know, certain dates have been set as 'no earlier than' dates and with regards to hospitality we have been advised that outside spaces may be used no earlier than 12 April 2021, with the 'Rule of 6' and table service only being required. The next step is then effective no earlier than 17 May and will allow indoor use, still under the 'Rule of 6' and table service only but with up to 30 people allowed outside.

While we have a large outdoor space at the Mill Arms, given the vagaries of the english weather and the restrictive requirements still in place, we do not feel that opening under such tight restrictions on 12 April is of benefit to either our staff or customers. It is our desire for the pub experience to be as near to normal as possible when we welcome you back through our doors.

We have therefore decided that, provided the dates notified above are kept to

WE WILL REOPEN ON TUESDAY 18 MAY 2021

Our letting rooms will also be available from this date and if all restrictions are lifted on 21 June 2021, then our function room and skittle alley will be available for hire post this date.

We cannot wait to see you in person again in an environment as close to normal as possible. We are looking forward to a great summer and catching up on all your stories and news.

Set in the village of Dunbridge and half a mile from Mottisfont Abbey, the Mill Arms is an ideal base for walkers, visitors to the New Forest, fisherman on the glorious Test and shooting parties in the winter months. Close to the market town of Romsey, there are a wealth of activities for visitors (https://visitromsey.org/visit)

With 6 completely refurbished letting rooms, a function room and skittle alley, along with a welcoming bar and restaurant, all of our guest's needs can be easily catered for. With a brand new conservatory for dining looking out over the garden and patio with two open fireplaces, one surrounded by 3 comfy sofas, we are sure that you’ll find a welcoming spot to enjoy our hospitality.
